Wood production forms the basis of economic activities in the region and is the most important service economically. Wood production service is followed by water supply and climate regulation services. Water sources like Rezve and Balaban Streams are very important for the FMD. Areas such as Çakmaktepe, İğneada, and Dupnisa Cave also attract attention with their high recreation potential.
